When I was in Bethlehem house retirement home, I was amazed how much singing helped the clients. I did a performance in the home which is in Kogarah, as part of my Leisure and Recreation Course. The residents enjoyed the performances and the resident pictured above was a particularly good singer. I sang country music for him and we had a hoot. It was important to show the other stroke survivors in the home that life can be joyful post stroke.

A little bit country

No matter how severe your stroke was, it's possible to bring joy into your life through simple activities like singing, dancing, participating or just watching.
